Super Bowl XLIIII

I've never watched such an amazing game this season. The Pittsburgh Steelers did what they had to do to win this game. We had some mistakes but they dusted them off and won this game, won this game for ME! LOL! Yeah, I swear. A lot of people think that I'm just a fake fan of the Steelers, but I can look each one of them in the eye and tell them the honest truth..."since I was born!" My whole entire family are big Steelers fans, the only one that isn't is OJ's wife Renon! LOL! She's all about them Chargers.

Anyways, the Steelers won the Super Bowl and now we got 6 rings to prove that we are who we say we are....WE CHAMPS! OMG! The whole entire game I was so frek'n excited that I was about to witness another super bowl win. Now we got 6 rings and we on top, above them damn Cowboys. And just to prove to everyone how big of a Steelers fan I truly am, here is a picture to prove it.

Big ups to Chris Kemoeatu, a Kahuku High School alumni and a UTE! Much love to the homie Troy Polamalu, he's the niggah! All my heart to Ben Roethlisberger, Hines Ward, Willie Parker, Santonio Holmes, Heath Miller, James Farrior, Lamar Woodley & last but not least MIKE TOMLIN who is the most calm coach in NFL history, LOL!!! Cause I said!!! And another Kahuku High alumni, Aaron Francisco who gave the game to us!

April 25, 2009 - Draper Utah Temple..

Friday, January 23, 2009 - I was able to finally get a hold of the Draper Utah Temple to make our reservation for our temple sealing. I was so excited to finally talk to someone who was able to help me with all of this. Although the representative was new at the system that was being used, she was so helpful & willing to explain to me all that she could.

So- I was able to finalize & reserve a room for our endowment session which will take place at 10 AM & then our sealing that will take place at 12 PM. I was so excited & could hardly wait to get off from work to tell my family & my husband.

Can't wait & we're both very happy!! We know that what we're doing is the right thing to do & of course all the evil in the world is going to try & get us to back down from this, but with all the faith that we have & with our testimony being as strong as it is now...only through the Lord & through our faith will we be able to overcome that. Satan will be working overtime on trying to bring us down but with all that we've been through already, there's nothing that can stop us from doing this.

THE CHURCH IS TRUE!

It's Mr. 9-42..

Okay, so when I came home today I expected to see Alethea home sitting on the couch watching MORE movies...LOL! But to surprise, no one was home when my husband & I got home. I was wondering for a minute where Leeta could've been. I knew she had to somehow get a hold of Nai to take him to do his measurements for a tuxedo. So than I wasn't worried anymore.
My husband & I were getting ready to workout when I heard someone trying to get in the house. I knew it was Leeta so I wanted to scare her. I didn't bother looking through the peep hole to make sure it was her because I knew that no one else would be trying to get in. So as soon as she opened the door, I screamed so loud that she got scared & to my surprise I seen my little brother, Mr. 9-42.

I was so happy to see him. I haven't seen him since the BYU game which was in November before thanksgiving. He was home in Laie, HI but I never knew when he got back to Utah. We had so much fun here at my house. We just hung out & played Wii. We had our little Wii competition going on, but nothing compares to the tournament at the Niu's resident on Moana Street in Laie.
Anyways, to make a long story short...I really enjoyed having Nai over at my house & especially the time we spent with him. It's been such a long time. He's still a little hurt from the BYU game but he looks like he's doing a lot better! He doesn't need his crutches but he's still wearing his knee brace. SISTER TIME w/ BROTHER NAI WAS THE BEST!

It's been a long time...

Okay, so I don't remember the last time I had blogg'd & since I have so much time on my hands, I've decided to come on..

So we've been doing a lot of cleaning up here in our apartment & found so many things that we can sell, LOL! Okay so since I bought me a new computer desk, we sold our old one for $20 & someone came & bought it today. And since I bought me a new office chair, we sold ours for $20 & someone else came & bought it today. And since I've inherited my in-law's love seat, we sold our black leather couch for $20. And since we made all that money, we went & bought us some new black end tables from IKEA.

So I've always heard about IKEA & how cheap their furniture is, very very beautiful things too. My husband & I decided to take a drive to IKEA in Draper to check it out & of course buy our end tables. I never knew that IKEA had a Cafe & a little restaurant thingy like Costco does. The hotdogs at IKEA are $.50 including tax. Their cinnamon buns are $.99 & their the frek'n BOMB, better than Cinnabon. Their Cafe is like a full on Cafe, I would say that it's better than Seasider at BYU Hawaii, I think.

Anyways, I love my new end tables & I especially love my new love seat. I love my new computer desk & I love my new office chair. Well, the computer desk & the office chair aren't brand spankin' new, we found them off of KSL.com, it's like a Craigslist. We're selling two of our lamps & our printer that has no wires to go with them, LOL! So if you need two lamps to go on your nightstand in your bedroom, let me know & I will sell it to you! Okay, just looking for some extra cash cause there's really nothing better for me to do with my time here at home, but to clean & find junk to sell.

Tonight my husband took me to watch a movie, Bride Wars. I frek'n loved that movie, it was such a cute chick flick, I was kind of surprised that my husband would be interested in taking me to watch it, with him. He liked it, but of course he's saying how much dumb the movie REALLY was. I don't care what he says, I frek'n loved it. Watching a movie at the Theatre is so not the same without popcorn & Coke. So we did very that, bought some popcorn & Coke. So frek'n awesome that we got our free refills & brought 'em home with us.

So far, my new year is going GREAT! My husband & I started off on a good note & that's always a good thing. We're still awaiting the days that we get to be sealed to eachother for ETERNITY! We both know that nothing is better than the happiness we both found by making this decision. The gospel is our greatest blessing because without this gospel, we're nothing. He won't be MINE until April 25, 2009 & I so can't wait. I love me some DJIZZO!

New Year 2009

Celebrating the new year was so different for me. I come from a small town on the island of Oahu, Laie, where we celebrate new years like no other. This year was different for me & my husband. We ended up over at my in-law's house just sitting around, staring at each other. Me on the other hand was knocked out at 9pm. Luckily for my husband, he came & woke me up at 11pm for the countdown. I'm so not used to sleeping on new years eve, being here in Utah has took a toll on me. Grrrrrrrrrr! I wish that I was able to fly back home for all the holidays & then come back the next day, that's so not going to happen anytime soon.

Anyways, I woke up & jumped in the shower. I thought taking a shower would keep me up, but right after the countdown & right after I talked to my mom on the phone---I knocked out again. My new years was so boring, but the only thing that mattered to me was that I was with my husband. Maybe for 2010 we'll do something different, but if you live here in Utah, going out in the cold is way out of the question.

I know that this year 2009 will be a very special one for my husband & I. We will be getting sealed, hopefully in the Draper UT Temple, April 25---that's our one year anniversary. I'm so excited & so can't wait for this special day, but most importantly I can't wait to see all my family that come for it. I know my husband is excited too, but I don't know if he's as excited as I am. This is something that we're both looking forward to.

ETERNITY...HERE WE COME!

Our FIRST Christmas as a MARRIED couple..

It turned out way better than I had anticipated it to be. If you're interested I'll be more than happy to share with you Florence & Alexander Peters' FIRST CHRISTMAS!

Of course I had to work Christmas Eve & my husband had the day off. While I was at work, working my butt off my husband was cruising around with his brother Joe. Joe & Elena got in from Vegas the morning of Christmas Eve, from Las Vegas. TJ was able to pick them up from the airport & had the chance to spend time with them. They were able to get a lot of things done, so I've been told.

The whole time I was at work, I couldn't stop thinking about what my husband was doing. I think I called him like every hour & if I didn't call him, he was sure to call me. Work that day was very slow. There were only about 20 to 30 people who were in that day & that's including myself. They were going to be closing down early at 4:00 PM & we usually close down at 5:00 PM. The supervisor that was in charge that day really wanted to leave, so I think she was able to get everyone out at 3:30. No change there for me because with my new schedule, I usually finish at 3:30.

THE CHEESECAKE FACTORY---
So my husband & I had made plans for the both of us to eat dinner at The Cheesecake Factory on the night of Christmas Eve. I wanted to do something special for the both of us & so I thought it would be lovely to take him there, since he had only been there once before. Plans changed & now it was his family & the both of us. There was nothing wrong with having the family all join in, it was just that I wanted to spend some down time with my husband. We had so much fun that night, even after we waited 4 hours for Ant & his family to drive down from Provo. It was well worth the wait. By the time they reached SLC & made it to the restaurant, we already knew what we wanted to order so as soon as they walked in the door we had our waiter take our orders...PRONTO!

I ordered the Special Combination & chose shrimp scampi & steak Diane & was also served with a side of mashed potatoes. It so didn't even look like what I had paid for, but the taste was so worth it. It was a first for Joe & Elena to eat there & I'm glad we all enjoyed it. I didn't finish my entree' because I was so saving room for a CHEESECAKE! I got mines & Anz fave cheesecake which is the white chocolate caramel macadamia nut cheesecake. That cheesecake is the frek'n BOMB, take the trophy!

CHRISTMAS UTAH-----
After eating at The Cheesecake Factory, we all headed over to watch something like a light show, called Christmas Utah. It's a house that is decorated from top to bottom, left to right & the most amazing thing about this house is that when you drive by in your car you can tune your radio to FM 99.9 & listen to the music. The lights & all the decorations that was used for this house was synchronized to music. TJ & I wanted to be able to take the family to see this house. When TJ & I had first gone to see this house, we were so amazed. We went December 13, there were people coming around to see the show but it was so busy, when we went last night, the line to just drive by the house was so long, we had to wait like maybe 10 to 15 minutes. Hauhere & Teave really enjoyed it & that's really what we wanted to accomplish for them.

GINGERBREAD HOUSES-----
So instead of doing gingerbread houses out of graham crackers, TJ decided to buy the gingerbread house kit. It was so much more easier & the same amount of fun! There was just to much to do on something so little! Teave started to do his, but never got to finish so his Mom took over & was so serious about winning, but she wasn't in a competition, LOL! Teave started, but Jen finished his. Hauhere started AND finished hers with the help of grandma Claudine & aunty Florence.

PRESENTS...PRESENTS...PRESENTS----
It wasn't even 12 midnight, but presents & gifts were torn open anyways. It looked like there were a lot of happy people in the room. I wasn't so excited because I was just so tired! My husband & I got a Nintendo Wii, new sheets & a blanket & a lot of different things. We were so limited with our spending that we weren't able to get anyone a gift except for his mom. We bought her the Gordon B. Hinckley movie, "A Giant among Men!" Joe also got a Nintendo Wii for Christmas & he was the most happiest person in the house, LOL! The most wonderful gift, I think, that was given out was to Elena from TJ's parents. They bought her the Christus statue & when she opened it, the room was so silent. She was so happy for that & she was even about to cry. Her eyes were watery & I was just so happy for her.

SO, that was our Christmas & so far I'm liking it! I get to go to two different Christmases! Both my husband & I enjoyed our time with both sides of the family. We're already looking forward to next years' Christmas. Now, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
